All is humming along at the Bike Collective!
It is with utter elation that we announce the Ogden Bicycle Collective is…. nearly open! In any case, we’re doing bike stuff again, instead of overhauling a building, and we’re so excited! Starting April 14th, we’re going to be running a volunteer night every Thursday 6-8pm, Do-It-Yourself Night and bike sales Tuesday/Wednesday 5-9pm and Saturday 12-5. For the first time in a year you can come down to the shop and tune up your bike! Come check out the new location and meet our new director, Clinton Watson. 936 28th Street, Ogden, UT.
Want a big event for a good cause? Bookmark your calendar for the Ogden Bike Swap Saturday, May 2nd, 8am-1pm. We’re going to have insane deals on modern componentry again this year, don’t miss it.
Starting in April the Salt Lake Bicycle Collective is expanding to summer hours, meaning we’ll be open Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 3:00-9:00 PM, Saturday 12-7, and Sunday 12-5. Monday is still volunteer night 5:30-9:00, and Wednesday Women’s night 5:30-9:00.
Thanks to an incredible scout drive from Braxton Byrge, we had 536 bicycles donated in one day! We need help tuning these bikes up, especially during the day and on Monday night. Call us at 801-FAT-BIKE to volunteer! We need to get through as many as possible by May 1st.
