May 1, 2025 — Bike to Work Day in Provo City, Utah Bike Month, Provo, UT, Provo businesses will host stations located throughout the city and hand out free breakfast, drinks, and other treats to people who arrive by bike from 7:30 – 9:00 am. (Provo City’s breakfast station will be open at 6:30 am for early bird riders.) This exciting alleycat event features a scavenger hunt bike race that takes you all over Salt Lake City. May 10, 2025 — Golden Spoke, Utah Bike Month, Wasatch Front, UT, Join the annual Golden Spoke Bike Ride event that spans Utah’s safe, connected, multi-use trail network across the Wasatch Front from Ogden to Provo. Routes range from 1 to 100 miles—for beginners to experts. Explore, learn, celebrate, and develop skills, in a safe, family-friendly environment. A 100 mile ride begins early in the morning at High Adventure Park on the Ogden River Trail near downtown Ogden. A mid-morning kickoff event follows at Tracy Aviary’s Nature Center at Pio Okwai in South Salt Lake, with short rides for beginners in South Salt Lake and Millcreek, and the start of a 50-mile ride. The route between South Salt Lake and Provo includes rest stops and alternate shorter starts and stops along the way, with convenient FrontRunner stations nearby. An end of ride event will be happening throughout the afternoon at the Skipper Bay Trailhead at the Provo River Delta near Utah Lake, with free perks, including food and transit passes for participants, and fun activities for people of all ages and abilities. May 21, 2025 — Ride of Silence, Utah Bike Month, Provo, UT, Join the Provo chapter of the Worldwide Ride of Silence to ride to honor people who were killed or injured while biking this last year and last several years. We will begin at Dixon Middle School and go for a short, slow, silent ride with brief stops at the ghost bike memorials for Doug Crow and Mark Robinson, and return to Dixon Middle School where we will have light refreshments.
