In a time long before, not many rode a bike on tour
Tevis and Dan left the small New Jersey town in 1974
They rode their bikes shore to shore
Knowing no one in town did that before
From the same town, the year was 1975
A time when Jeff and Lou changed their lives
From the Pacific to the Atlantic
They rode onward, never in panic
50 plus years later, they are old
Wisdom aside, they are no longer bold
Aches and pains prevent being carefree
However, cancer has made the group three.
